Description
Why Da Hong Pao Clay?
Da Hong Pao clay is a rare and precious type of Zisha clay that has a natural red color. When hot water is poured into the teapot, the clay becomes more vibrant and radiant, as if it is wearing a “big red robe”. Da Hong Pao clay is highly prized for its smooth texture, fine pores, and excellent heat retention.
What is Clay Painting?
Clay painting is an ancient technique that uses different colors of Zisha clay as pigments and brushes to paint the surface of the pottery. The painted surface is then carved with special tools to create intricate patterns and details. Clay painting requires great skill and patience, as the artist has to control the humidity, temperature, and timing of the painting and carving process.
