Ceramic artist Zhang loves to be inspired by nature when creating her artwork. This tea cup is the result of her idea to make an unique piece that reminds her of a glacier. “A glacier is the result of accumulation of snow and it constantly moves,” she said. Hence the name ‘Ancient Snow’. The lower layer is still uncovered by the glaze of ice, representing the land surface/soil that’s still not covered by the glacier.
