The base of the cup is made from clay with on the outside a layer of purple coloured ceramic. The edges are brownish naturally matching the clay color and emphasizing the classic shape of this Chinese tea cup.
Every single piece of this glazed ceramic cup is unique! There slight variations in size as the base is handmade and baked, while the ceramic layer is naturally melted on the clay.
